I don’t see it. We’ve had some truly bad defensive groups who were WAY WAY worse in their zone than this.

You can compare most NHL defenses over in the history of the game to the defenses we've iced over the last 8-9 years and they'll all look decent in comparison. That's probably why we sit at home every April, but I could be wrong.

He's got some points, but he's not helping a whole lot. He sure turns the puck over often for a veteran with his resume.

As I said the Red sea parted. no canes were near the center of the ice I don't disagree that shot was set up for a tip. just that this team doesn't do well setting them up. When the D think it's coming the O Goes to the sides for the rebound.

All I'm really saying while our offense is horrible, our defense shouldn't get a pass based on hype from last year and their potential. Their progress is stagnating if not regressing.
