I liken CoD to the McDonalds or Pop Music of video games... Easily consumed, can be really tasty sometimes even though it's garbage content, and it's just so heavily prevalent throughout society. Appeals to the masses, despite not being particularly deep in content.

I've bought 7 and played an 8th (COD WWII free on PS+) not a COD guy and have gotten to the point where I only pick up a madden every 4-5 years or so

This year's Modern Warfare is the only COD I've bought since MW2 and it's only been to play Warzone.

I can't believe GTA5 was released 7 years ago.
