So you think Nurse is basically the best fighter in the NHL? There aren't that many guys that have a huge size advantage over him.

My vote goes to Simmonds.
He is the most entertaining fighter imo and he is tall and strong but he still looks lanky

McQUAID is a beast. He beat up Matt Martin badly last year....Martin is not the best fighter in the lague but he is tough. The guy never loses. Not sure McQuaid would lose to to many guys.

Currently in the NHL? I mean pound for pound it's probably actually Bieksa right now. At 6'1 - 197 he is by far the smallest guy with the highest win %. Though Micheal Haley is only 5'10 and he isn't scared of shit. Doesn't unanimously win a lot of fights but holds his own against pretty much everyone. He even gave Reeves a good few shots last year, who is probably bar none the best fighter in general.

Joey Kocur was the best " pound for pound " fighter I have seen
Brett Galant as mentioned earlier. Michael Haley can chuck with anyone . Clark Gillies was feared even though I don't think he ever had 100 Pims in a season.

IN today's nhl I go with Brock " Lesnar " Nelson
