Best places in play in the L.A. area?

Hi all. I'm moving from San Jose to the L.A. area in a few months and was wondering where the best places to play are......I'm talking ice and roller, organized but also just pickup. I will probably live in the Northridge area. Any advice (or pointing to a relevant thread) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure about Pickwick but prices at the Ice Station keep getting a little more expensive each season.

If you move to northridge you will be like 5 minutes away from me. Ice station is great (in valencia) it's a half hour drive. The Burbank ice sucks. I play at ice station and valley ice center, witch is much closer and less expensive. As far as roller goes I don't know much about that. All the rinks have pick-up and leages, just different times. Yes, they raise it on us every year. Thats why I was thinking of just joining a league at valley ice center.
