People often talk about the history of #4 and #9 in the NHL, but what about #16? There have been a lot of great players that wore the number. Who are people's favourites?

How about the great Henri Richard ? I'd have to look up the numbers but I believe he ran out of fingers for his rings.

The first two names who came to mind were Henri Richard and Bobby Clarke (both had their numbers retired).

I believe Marcel Dionne and Michel Goulet also had their number 16's retired.

11 cups and he's the only one with as many.

Yeah, the players that came to mind for me were LaFontaine, Linden and Hull, those would be the best players that I've been around to watch. Any more obscure dark horses that may have been overlooked?

What, you doing something with perfect squares, 4, 9, 16????? I think it's gonna be hard with 36 though and 49.

How 'bout Boston's "The Turk" Derek Sanderson or NY Rangers Rod Seiling, a
couple of #16 1970s throwback memories.
