Huberdeau Barkov Dadonov
Giroux Couturier Voracek
Schwartz Schenn Tarasenko
Connor Scheifele Wheeler
the blues line
They do have the best stats
20 goals 57 points 12 EVG FLA
23 goals 60 points 19 EVG PHI
25 goals 68 points 19 EVG STL
19 goals 52 points 13 EVG WPG
Not done by me and it was a week ago:
Scheifele and Wheeler are arguably the best players after Tarasenko.... Connor doesnt hurt them that much in comparison (Couturier, Schenn, Dadonov)
No Malkin - Kessel - whoever? Or Draisaitl - McDavid - Maroon?
definitely not for the following reason
-Pens line getting shuffled
-Oilers line are wrong
-they wouldn't win this poll
Blues guys have had the best season so far
Looks like Blues running away with this
might do line #3 and add the Stars Benn Seguin Radulov or Maroon McDavid Draisaitl
Edit - can't read apparently
last year's best line, weren't they split up?
Just to make sure, are we assuming KZB goes before the Kucherov line?
Haha wheeler is better than Giroux? Okayyyyyy.
Right now overall, how could you lump Couturier with Schenn and dadonov? Couturier has arguably been the best player of any player on the poll thus far this year. Not one of them are on his level defensively.
And you say Connor doesn't "hurt" as much as Couturier as if Connor is better?....
Yes and it's not even close.
It was supposed to be broken up. When Backes, Krejci, and Spooner got hurt they ran out of centers and put it back together. Its only been together 60 minutes, though. 67% Corsi and as dominant as you would expect, but just have not played enough together to be included in this conversation anymore than Kessel/Crosby/Malkin should be considered.
Now Marchand is hurt, too, so who knows what they are doing. Bergeron + Pastrnak + the Providence Bruins.
Blues trio are probably the 2nd best right now but I see several lines that will surpass them as the season progresses.
Give me the Blues trio here.
I vote KZB
Not very close. Brayden Schenn has been awesome in St.Louis. Tarasenko has the skills. And Schwartz looks real good early on.
Wheeler is better than Giroux.... this year, and last year. Make a poll. Go ahead.
Hoffman Brassard Stone
1st lines from:
Before any of these options
Bolts line WOAT
Namestnikov is a bust
That Calgary top line is starting to make some noise. 24 goals 53 points in a combined 54 games between the 3 of them. The entire team has only scored 51 goals.
They've got a nice mix of skill, power, and finishing. Gaudreau on a 8 game point streak and Ferland on a 5 game goal streak. If they stay hot they could certainly join the conversation.
I pick Blues line but Philly line is really close
