Scooter Vaughn (St. Louis - NAHL) "Gotta like it!"
Kane Lafranchise (Spruce Grove - AJHL) "The Franchise"

There's some notable names in the WHL (ie. good dope in the west):
- CJ Stretch
- Carter Bancks
- Dwight King
- Spencer Machacek
- Drayson Bowman
- Walker Wintoneak
- Keegan Dansereau

For '08 Draft it MUST be Steele Boomer who's a pretty decent prospect to boot.

I wonder if we'll ever see names like Syl, and Art and Frank again.

I for one am naming my first born Syl.

Also, just curious... If Ruslan and Roman get drafted by the same team, what goes on the back of their jerseys? Ru. Bashkirov and Ro. Bashkirov?

Or how about Buster, Howie, Gordie, Cy, Horace, Cecil, Mickey, Milt, Woody, Reg, Clarence, Stan, and Cliff.

Nowadays, parents seem to enjoy giving their kids last names for first names, like: Carter, Taylor, Blake, Hunter, Parker, Holden, etc... What's next? Mr. Smith Miller? Mr. Jones MacIntyre?

You don't see too many Hermans around these days... a shame

I'm just hoping that someone with a lot of good picks takes Turris, Sweatt and Blood, converts Ben to a winger, and forms the Blood, Sweatt and Turris line.

What does Turris mean?
