In Sweden's final game (4-3 loss to Finland), top 2005 eligible Niklas Bergfors scored 2 goals on 9 shots.

I'm thinking his stock could have skyrocketed had the Swede coach played him more... he was more than impressive in the games I saw him.

he does seem like an interesting prospect. however, Sweden had a lot of great talent to go around with nilsson, salmonsson, soderberg, eriksson, videll, etc. hopefully he will get to play more in other tournaments...

Bergfors was very impressive in the game I saw vs the Americans. I think he could be a top 10 pick with a good season. IMO his WJC's improved his stock...even without the two goal night.

Just based on talent, from the 2 games I saw he showed more of it than probably any of the main Swedes. Size shouldn't be a matter, they guy's 17 and already as big as Markus Naslund.
