I like how a coach can get credit for losing to a team that has better D, goaltending, and overall forward depth (although they lead by far in top end skill).

It's downright embarrassing. There are 2 Washington Capitals, the regular season version and the post-season version.
I had high hopes watching the adjustments in the offseason and Ovi's solid year, and literally absolutely nothing has changed about their post season play.

Every game is separated by 1 goal and they are always on the losing end because there is no ability to dispatch the opponent.

Year after year complete and utter domination on the shot clock by the Caps and year after year another "hot goalie". It's downright embarrassing.

So his adjustments paid off after being dead in the water at 0-2 in the first round... I'm quite happy for the big man to final have his chance at the ultimate dance.

Oh I get what you're saying.

The League will be so far up the Knight's collective rear-end, it would make everyone ill.

But that's why I'm rooting for Ovy to GET. IT. DONE.

He knows that this may be his one and only shot and he's going to go at it full-bore and I just feel that he will pull it off.

People need to understand that coaching changes don't affect the team overnight. They may still lose in the SCF but the team is committed to the 2-way play like no other Caps team I had watched before.
