To St. Louis: 1st round pick (25th overall), 3rd round pick (85th overall)

For me, this pick is a no-brainer. The Blues are thrilled to select defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom. Although his salary is rather hefty ($10 M), which likely caused him to fall in the draft, the Blues consider him the best all-around defenseman in the NHL and a great addition to their team.

Lidstrom - $10 M

bandwagon, another question here... you said there's a 50 million dollar salary cap right? well how will you judge what unsigned drafted players are making (ie. Phaneuf)?
