FLA seems a little more balanced in most key areas.
Not sure why COL won't get a legit #1 goalie?
Florida put up 12 on them in 2 games, took both games convincingly.

I get playoffs are different but Panthers can win many different ways and unsure the depth scoring and goaltending of COL would hold up vs FLA in 7 game series.

If not for the Avs falling flat on their face last year in the playoffs I'd pick them assuming they'd pick up their play in the playoffs, but Panthers clearly look better and have since the start of last year's playoffs so I'd take them.

Florida is just the deeper team right now, and can beat you in more ways. Avs are still super dangerous due to their stars, and I think they can beat anyone if they’re on, but I think Florida is more likely to go deep again.

I'm not at all intimidated by the Avs this year, they're a shell of their cup winning team. 3 players are carrying them on their shoulders and they as well as their goalie will be burnt out come playoffs.

avs. they should have landeskog and nichushkin back for playoffs. goaltending could be an issue

Well one of these teams went to the Cup last year, currently has more points than the other, and also beat the other 4-0 just today.

You’d have to be a major Avs homer or on drugs to not pick the Panthers.

We still have the same issues we've had against the Kraken which is secondary scoring. Now add our goalie and defense as a whole that aren't playing well. I would say the Panthers are the better team now and going into the playoffs unless CMac pulls something off like a #2C and backup goalie like Fleury. In reality we probably end up with a Lars Eller trade again
