Can you imagine the Oilers winning 5-1 with their 3rd string goalie and McDavid going scoreless? I can't. Then again McDavid would have to leave the ice.

3-0 this season when catching a game at the Dome and yet another great performance by the Flames too. Stajan's right about the Dome atmosphere. It's f***ing terrible. A total library in a 5-1 blowout... embarrassing

Gillies stood tall after that hilarious gaffe and made some good saves. The Avs seemed to wilt after the Gio goal. Also helped that everything seemed to go in on Varlamov today. The third line wasn't very good today, but everyone else had a good game.

They suffered from Dump-itis. I don't exactly "blame" Hathaway but I am counting the days until we get Versteeg and/or Ferland back as those two are far better neutral zone carriers than what we have. Mangiapane is a good puck carrier but currently lacks the confidence to take a risk. A skilled vet linemate on RW like Ferly or Steeger would do wonders for Eatbread's confidence and our third line could seriously do some damage.
