Auston Matthews responds to Steve Simmons

I'm sad people don't talk about Plekanec. Sometimes if feels like Matthews is the only player on the Leafs roster...

Plekanec was also struggling at the end of the season and was held pointless in the 2 first playoffs games, but came back strong last night. The guy was very effective, maybe even more than Matthews.

Plekanec didn't score the GWG so he was useless.

Pleks did have a great game but based on his dumpster fire of a term so far as a Leaf, he broke even at best.
If he has a good game Thursday, I will personally start a thread singing his praises.

I'm guessing that hack Simmons is taking credit for Matthews finally showing up to the series. Like his question sparked the fire we saw yesterday.
