Don't think are any really big surprises there...

MVP - L Heelis (ACD)
Coach - D. Burns (ACD)
Rookie - P. Maillet (UNB)

Not bad - 3/3 in the top categories, but I think most people could have predicted that.

First Team
F - L Heelis (ACD), C. Culligan (UNB) & E. Faille (UdeM)
D - C Owens (ACD) & J. Doornbosch (SMU)
G - E. Mosher (ACD)

4/6 - swap Doornbosch for Traccitto & Faille for Cazzola
Pretty close. I still think Faille is a better choice.

Second Team
F - M. Cazzola (ACD), N. MacNeil (UNB) & C. Desousa (UPEI)
D - R Traccitto (UPEI) & L. Jenner(ACD)
G - C. Lavigne (UNB)

1/6 for 2nd Team (9/12 over the two teams)
I didn't think they would put rookies on the either 1st/2nd team. Oh well, but I did get 9/12 over the two teams.
Not selecting Charlie is a pure anti-UNB bias - the guy had 17 wins (8 more than Savage) and a better GAA of 2.30 vs 2.52, played 400 more min. and almost the same SVP% .908 vs .909. Plus 4 shutouts vs 1.

Rookie Team
F - P. Maillet (UNB), Allain Saulnier (Moncton) & S. Beyers (SMU)
D - J. Murray (UNB) & G. Schemitsch (ACD)
G - J. Vienneau (UNB)

5/6 on the Rookie Team.
OMG - are they off their rockers here!@# They selected a goalie with a 4-2 record and a 3.13 GAA. While Joel had a 7-0 record and a 2.67 GAA - UNB goalies never get any respect.

You can't even use the "he plays on a stacked team so his numbers look better" argument since Glover arguably played on a better team than Vienneau.

You can't be saying that Acadia is a better team than UNB?
I agree that Lavigne should get the All Star slot and Vienneau the Rookie slot based on numbers. I don't understand this bias against UNB.
