The Kenora Thistles
"...an early amateur men's ice hockey team based in Kenora, Ontario, Canada and formed in 1885 as a senior team by a group of 'Lake of the Woods' lumbermen. The club is notable for winning the Stanley Cup as an amateur team in 1907. The town is the smallest in population to have ever won the Stanley Cup"

Are these ranked in order 1-8? How do the playoffs work? Cole vs. Northey and then the winner of Lecavalier/Green? Etc.?

To be explicit to my understanding the format is

Red Fisher Conference

A - #1 JR vs #2 SP
B - #1 FH vs #2 LM
C - #2 JR vs #1 SP
D - #2 FH vs #1 LM

Jim Coleman Conference

E - #1 BC vs #2 WN
F - #1 RL vs #2 TG
G - #2 BC vs #1 WN
H - #2 RL vs #1 TG

WA vs WD
WB vs WC

WE vs WH
WF vs WG

Then from there it's fairly straightforward. I believe this is correct, the arrangement assumes the first 4 picks are all one seeds. This ensures that we could potentially have an all big 4 final four

25% of teams (6 of 24) have LINKED their picks on their roster, making it MUCH easier and faster to get a better sense of a line-up.

If we had to google every player on every line-up.... ugh... we wouldn't. We would go with our preconceived notions, however half-informed they may be. I click on every link that a team provides when I look closely at a team (hence why I finally started doing it a few years ago myself, after going linkless for years).

Every team is encouraged to at least link their pick with an ATD bio if there currently is one (saves the reviewer at least two dozen clicks per team!) or some other source of info or insight into the player. Even after years of ATDing, it can be hard to know the details of a...
Baldy Northcott vs. Paul Thompson vs. Don Marcotte
Georges Boucher vs. Babe Pratt vs. Tom Johnson

... to name a forward and dman from each team in one division that has no links.

Relax, the links are coming, need to finish the bios first.Boucher and Northcott will have one.

My Boucher bio is a work in progress, I'm going through as many game descriptions as possible, one newspaper at a time.I most likely won't be able to do all the games, but I'll try to do a lot of them, as much as possible.

How come some /#-(Post number) dont lead to the particular post but only to the correct page of the particular bio thread?
I do only have a phone so perhaps it works each time on computers, but still.

Has to do with XenForo I guess, along with your web browser, that it doesn't jump down to the right post but stays put at the top post. Being impatient and scrolling or moving your cursor around might affect the post jump.
