Grabner is getting absolutely destroyed on the Debbie’s board. One guy questioned if he was a “Rangers mole” LOL!

They gave up 3+ goals in every game they lost. That's why they lost.

Their coach had no idea what to do with or how to play Grabner (even during regular season). He should follow AV wherever he goes.

LOLing at Devils board. They are all salty and got bullied by Tampa who don't play the game the right way. I wonder if it's the fact they lost to a bunch of former Rangers that has them so salty.

When two former Rangers captains basically sealed their fate in the series it has to sting a little. Kinda was payback for that 2012 ECF. Tampa has 4 ex-Rangers from that run.

Seeing some of the post-series reactions is really wild considering there were at least a couple of seemingly prominent Devils posters thinking that after Game 2 the series wasn't where it was because of anything their players did and, btw, the Lightning aren't really better but that they (the Devils) just made a few mistakes.

Tampa's 3rd line in better than the Debbies 1st line save for Hall. Delusion is a powerful thing.

Our forecheck was absurdly effective, and many of their defenders were ill-equipped to handle it, often taking long enough to dispense the puck that dump-in line changes (presumably, as the cameras, IIRC, often revealed a single forechecker) resulted in turnovers.

Also their defense. They have at least 3 defensemen who would be by far NJ's best defensemen. Tampa Bay's defense is so deep that Sergachyov only plays like 10 minutes per game in the playoffs. If he was on NJ, he'd be playing 25 per game in the playoffs. They think Will Butcher is great, and then they realize Tampa's sixth defensemen probably has two times as much trade value as their Calder nominee Butcher.

NJ doesn't have much talent. They were lucky to win a game. Without Taylor Hall, they are hoping they win the draft lottery on Saturday.

Haven't been following Pittsburgh games this playoffs. Need some help figuring something out.

What's the name of this year's AAAA player who gets to ride shotgun with Crosby and averages 1PPG in the playoffs before they eventually go back to being a bottom 6 forward?

The Devils are Taylor Hall. They're so top-heavy and have minimal depth, but they'll have some intriguing bottom-6 guys coming up soon. They f***ed themselves by taking Zacha and McLeod, but good because f*** them.
