Why is Morin getting traded every year, sometimes even multiple times? Do GM's actually see some NHL potential in this guy or what?

I get that he is a good AHL player but it's pretty rare for AHL stars to be traded so often.

If Eliteprospects is correct this is the 6th time he is traded.

Atlanta -> Chicago
Chicago -> Columbus
Columbus -> Chicago
Chicago -> Toronto
Toronto -> San Jose
San Jose -> Tampa (UFA Signing)
Tampa -> Arizona

Vrbata will be traded in the next couple of days, Fischer will get called up, and Tucson needs a scoring right-handed shot more than the toughness that Fournier brought to the table. Hopefully Morin can help replace some of the lost scoring in the trade deadline shuffle.
