First ballot is more of a baseball thing. Whether they're in on their first opportunity is going to depend largely on who else is eligible that year. They'll get in rather quickly though. I thought they might be borderline to some degree, but the fact that basically every analyst has described them as "future hall of famers" this year while discussion their lesser role on the team makes me believe they'll get in

No.
But they could be if there's only one or two real slam dunks when they first become eligible.

They will both get in regardless. What they've accomplished as twins is truly remarkable

voted option 1.
Both make the hall - and i have no problem them being a first ballot hof'er, but it depends on who else is in the class.

I personally think Henrik was the better one by a very small margin, but both are getting in.

I think they'll make it as a duo. Wether it'll be first year of eligibility depends on the year they first are eligible.

Unfortunately, in the heavily racist and heavily eastern-biased league known as the NHL, the Sedins' will likely not be considered first ballot Hall of Famers. Their credentials definitely warrant it, but they won't get their due until later.

I have hard time believing they'll get inducted on separate years. I mean, it's obvious the HHOF waited until Selanne was retired to induct Kariya. There is no reason to believe they'll not do the same for Sedins.

There is no such thing as a first ballot, only first year of eligibility.

Sedin always had the benefit of playing with Sedin, which boosted his numbers greatly. So no, he shouldn’t be in the HHOF. That Sedin guy though... he carried Sedin his whole career. Can you imagine if he played with someone better? Definite HHOFer.

That same "heavily racist" and "heavily eastern biased" league didn't have a problem giving Henrik a hart (that he he shouldn't have won) and 2x 1st AST or Daniel a lindsay.

I'm gonna..
They'll get in for their amazing peak seasons and the fact that they're TWINS accomplishing what they did in the hardest league in the world.

They are a very unique package that will likely never be matched in history again. Absolutely first ballot.

Anyone saying otherwise is out to lunch.

Henrik leading the league in assists three years in a row is impressive.

The players vote on the Lindsay, not the league.

Its obvious Ovechkin missing a few games for his grandfathers funeral is what cost him the Hart, but Henrik was still a deserving winner IMO.

Neither one deserves to even get into the HHOF, 1st ballot or later. It's supposed to be for legit Superstars. 1000 points is just not that special.
