David Bolland has now released a statement on the London Knights website regarding his suspension. To me he comes across as immature and selfish. Not only does he not own up to the fact that he actually kicked someone with a skate on, but he lays the blame on the linesman. Sure the suspension was overboard, but admit you were in the wrong and start acting like a professional :shakehead

That's pretty classless to come out and blame it on the linesmen. In the words of Dave Chappelle "What a biggidy bittch"

You have to wonder who helped him with this statement, and why the HELL the Knights gave it a spot on their website.

He'd have been far better off to suck it up, apologize to his teammates and the London fans.

Is Downie really a pain? but is he someone you want on your team & can score? He sounds like another Ben Eager. Only problem with Eager is his offense is not so hot right now.
I like eager alot...

the suspension for bolland is at least consistant... Four other players in the O this season got the same number of games for a Kicking incident, the only difference is that they never blames the linesman for manhandling them. Maybe there will be more coming to bolland and the staff of the London Knights for publishing his statement and calling out the officials. Money might need to exchange hands now.

I guess it is kind of the Linesman fault, if the linesman had not grabbed him and put him backwards im postive he would of never kicked him. However he did clearly kick Angeledis and he should own up and take the suspension like the athlete he is, he is being very immature about it.

I hope O.S wins this series before Bolland gets back just to so his season is already over. Im hoping for it.

Peterborough and Barrie is shaping up to be the mother of all Eastern Conference finals. Should be a beaut.

Guelph will almost certainly advance, but the OS vs. London is too close to call. I'm guessing the Knights will come storming back shortly.

It's sad to see a team that is competitive year in and year out can barely draw a crowd for a 2nd round series? The attendace in Plymouth for game 3 was 1765 in an arena that can hold 4500. Sad.

Is it a suburb of Detroit? I've never been to Motown, but I've heard horror stories about how even the suburbs are a post-apocalyptic ghost town, with high poverty rates and an army of crackhead zombies setting vacant houses on fire...

Correct me if I'm wrong, like I say I've never been there.

And that 1700 was tickets sold. I think they're lucky if there was 1000 people there.

I dont know how that is considered a kick, i mean come on the ref was like holding him and basically oushing him around its clear that the ref was pushing bolland's face down during that, bolland was falling forward and Bollands leg happend to bend at the time. To be kick it should be a kick motion but that to me and alot of fans that was just a product of what the idiot ref was doing to bolland.

Bolland was not even playing attention the to player so how can evn know where to kick? like seriously if he kciked him why didnt Bolland look over at the player after the "kick". After the so called kick Bolland is to caught up with the idiot ref, i think this a total ******** call Bolland did not try to kick anyone!

You are not even close. Ever seen Back to the future. The town Mickey Fox ends up in during the 50's is what Plymouth is like. Very nice place. As are most of the burbs around Detroit.
