Discussion in 'NHL Draft - Prospects' started by ginnungagap, Jun 5, 2006.
and which prospects weren't signed and are old enough to be UFA?
C Tyler Haskins, X-Detroit property playing for Toronto St. Mikes going back into the draft.
Ryan Garlock, Mitch Maunu and Trevor Kell re-enter the draft, not signed by Chicago.
From the Senators, I believe the only player re-entering the draft this year is RW Roman Wick, a 2004 5th round pick originally drafted out of Switzerland (Kloten) who has played the past 2 seasons for Lethbridge and Red Deer in the WHL.
Alex Dulac-Lemelin reenters from the Habs. Defensemen from Bathurst.
for Anaheim...Gabriel Bouthillette...goalie from the QMJHL will be going back into the draft.
(2004 7th round, 203rd overall)
Actually, I think he'd be a UFA. He's an '85, already turned 21.
Looks like it's pretty much slim pickings then- no Bickell, McGrath, Brouwer.
Is there any potential in Bouthilette, Wick, Garlock or any of the others? I followed Haskins and he might be worth a contract if he bulks up during his overage season.
What about the Swedish guy the Bruins took?
the preds didn't sign G Kyle Moir, who had a pretty decent season on a bad swift current team. also, nick fugere and vaclav meidl were unsigned, though i don't think either is re-entering.
ya Lars Jonsson
How has Garlock progressed? He looked pretty dang solid before the 2004 draft and ISS had him in their top 30.
Not going back in- he's a UFA.
Bruins '04 4th-rounder Ashton Rome, on the other hand, missed being a UFA by 1 day (Jan 1 '86 BD). He'll re-enter.
