Just curious if you thought any of these defensemen had a legitimate chance to make their respective teams next year?

1- Alex Goligoski (Pittsburgh)
2- Matt Lashoff (Boston)
3- Bob Sanguinetti (NY Rangers)
4- Cody Franson (Nashville)
5- Brian Lee (Ottawa)

thanks in advance

I'll say Lashoff should/could make it, and the rest would basically be huge shocks to make it next year.

I think Sanguinetti will require a few years in the AHL before he is ready (if ever). Don't know much about the others, sorry.

Goligoski will probably need a year or more in the AHL before he'll be ready to play in Pittsburgh. For next year, he'll be low on the list of prospect defensemen trying to make the NHL roster, most likely behind Welch and Letang at least.

out of that list, only Lashoff. Goligoski and the rest will probly take time in the AHL. Franson could most likely play in the NHL next year but Nashville's blueline is too deep.
