Here in Pittsburgh they have been showing weekly what they call 'Classic NHL.' Once a week a Pens game that was entertaining for one reason or another. Often Playoff Games from their Cup run years. Tonight was the Pens vs. Chicago, I believe from 1992 and brought back many memories.

I am wondering if something similar is being done in other markets or if even some AHL games make it to television in your market. It reminded me what we have been missing, and as well how great hockey was back then.

Well I have NHL NETWORK and they show just about every game you could ask for from classics to games of the week from last year to classic series to greatest goals to hall of fame spotlight videos to greatest goalies to top 10-s.

Oh btw the Pens/Blackhawks game.. was it the one where Hasek replaced Belfour in the second period and stoned Lemieux twice (one on a breakaway I believe)
