Just as the bad puns keep on coming, so do the significant trades.

On Friday, the Mighty Ducks announced that they had traded All-Star winger and leading goal scorer Zigmund Palffy, along with a draft pick, to the New Jersey Devils. The return on Ziggy? Spunky winger Pascal Dupuis, young goaltender Yann Danis, and prospect winger Tuomas Pihlman.

For those keeping track, Ducks GM Matt Gledhill has traded away Palffy, Brian Rolston, and Sean Burke in the last week. That's two-thirds of what was the team's top line, plus the team's #1 goaltender.

What's unclear at the moment is whether Gledhill is done dealing, or whether this latest move could simply be the sign of more changes to come. The rumor mill has it that scoring winger Eric Daze is still being actively shopped, as is fourth-line bruiser Brad May. As for Eric Lindros and Mike Ricci, the picture appears a little less clear. While both still seem to be on the market, Ducks management doesn't appear to be pressing quite so hard to move either, and may even be considering re-signing one or both.

Stay tuned.
