Alright Wisconsin fans, what can you tell me about Joudrey? Who does he compare to? Skills? Deficiencies?

Never been much for comparing to other players but here are some opinions.

Joudrey has some pretty good wheels and is one of the better defensive zone players in the WCHA. He was usually on the 2nd PK unit and should be on the top unit this year and he also played the point of the 1st Power Play unit for the last 2 years. With the lack of playmakers this year up front I'm guessing he will play down low on the Power Play this year. Andrew really seems timid to shoot the puck very often especially on the Power Play point as teams lagged off of him a bit. He has good but not great vision of the ice and his teammates. In my opinion he's probably a career AHL guy with maybe a cup of coffee down the line, but this year is his chance to break out with Earl and Pavelski leaving early and the top 5 returning scorers gone from last year.
