With Hull, Messier, Charlie and Lionel Conacher, Stewart, Seibert, Siebert, Tonelli, Cleghorn, Gadsby and Moore I don't have to fear your "goons" and I don't have to sacrifice offense or defense to play a physical game. I have at least one guy on each of my lines/pairings that wouldn't hesitate to take on one of your heavies and they don't have to fight to punish the opponents. If you played your "goons" to match my physical play I'd bury you on the scoreboard. Even my Europeans and "softies" are mostly big boys.

I've got some nasties on my team that wouldn't hesitate to take liberties with your players and the fists to keep you from making them sorry.

Three forwards that led the league in goals and points and two defensemen that led all D in goals, assists and points, with a center who is one of the most dominant face-off men of all-time.

That is another area where I have the best team, face-offs. Stewart and Kennedy are two of the best and Messier and Keon are both excellent.

Leo Boivin ​

Boivin, nick-named the Fireplug, captained the Bruins for 4 years. He was a tough, stay at homew defenceman whom Tim Horton believed was "The toughest blueliner to beat in a one-on-one situation."
