If you want my advice, don`t take full anaesthisia. It is really not worth the risk. Usually you should be find with local anesthetics. Cool it a bit and you are well off. Everyone hates dentists, so good luck. And don`t worry about the procedure and meds, a doorman could do that operation, seriously.

Yeah I doubt I'll be completely under I assume that since I'll have to have my mouth open and such that they need me awake of some form or another. Since I'm 30 I assume it's a bit more complex with formed roots and whatnot...but meh....I won't clog up this thread with personal dental issues any longer. Just let me know if I'm drafting or not this go round. Thx and gl.

American East Division:

1 BM67 - New Jersey Devils
10 HankyFourFingers - (Hartford Whalers)
14 Evil Speaker - Boston Bruins
17 Evil Sather - (New York Rangers)
20 John Flyers Fan - (Philadelphia Flyers)
12 reckoning - Buffalo Sabres

American West Division:

8 kruezer - Seattle Metropolitans
19 VanIslander - Las Vegas Thunder
4 Nalyd Psycho - St. Louis Eagles
7 EagleBelfour - Detroit Falcons
21 Spitfire11 - Detroit Red Wings

Western Canada Division:

22 The Lone Elvi - Vancouver Canucks
6 pitseleh - Nanaimo Clipper
2 God Bless Canada - Trail Smoke Eaters
3 Murphy2 - Edmonton Oilers
5 Brett_Lebda - Saskatoon Blues

Central Canada Division:

13 #66 - Les A's de Quebec
15 Hockey Outsider - Montreal Canadiens
18 raleh - (Montreal Maroons)
16 Leaf Lander - Toronto Maple Leafs
11 pappyline - Barrie Flyers
23 arrbez - Aurora Tigers

Two International Teams:

24 pnep - Siberian Bears
9 Wisent - Adler Mannheim

Perhaps the Siberian team could go into the Western Canada division (home ice in Vladivostok?) and the Mannheim team could go into the America West Division, or else move Buffalo west and put Mannheim with the east coast American teams of hartford, jersey, new york, philly, boston.

I posted before ES did, how come I'm not in?

Ask BM67, he's the one with the original list of 24.

I think some experienced all-time drafters have said in other threads that they will be in this draft, and so are simply slow in registering it. Or it could be a bias toward veterans over newbies.

We could expand to 28... 1 more for each division...

But the clock would have to be, like, 10 hours... to keep things moving along

If we get 4 more, I'd like to keep the divisions even
25 LapierreSports - Montreal Wanderers
26 Pwnasaurus - Kansas City Scouts
27
28
+ 27 vancityluongo + 28 WHO?

25 LapierreSports -Montreal Wanderers could go into the Central Canada Division.
26 Pwnasaurus - Kansas City Scouts could go into the American West Division.
vancityluongo I suspect might pick a franchise in the Western Canada Division.
and that would leave one more team for the American East Division.

NO. 24 is enough. These guys were to late in posting so they can go make there own if they want. If you didn't get in, tough luck for you.

Or maybe we should do it based on number of posts, newbie Lebda. ;)

Let's see what BM67 has to say on the matter. He's running this draft.

It's just 4 more teams to not make the playoffs.

Timewise, just knock the clock from 12 to 10 hours.

It would be nice to have to spread out the talent a bit, not have so many superstar lines, changes strategy a bit, mixes things up.

We have 21 veterans of the all-time draft and 3 newbies. Adding a bit more new blood would be good too.

Either way.

I have put vancityluongo in as 27 but we still don't have a 28. MXD is the only other to post here, but he seems to think he was too late.

I'd rather go with 24, but as long as the GMs make their picks in a timely fashion, another 4 teams wouldn't matter much. Of course having 4 guys that are interested to take over for anyone that has some kind of life distraction would be nice.

I take it!
Am I entitled to a division (for spot #28)?
... Just wants to make a team name that makes geographic sense.

I agree, the more this becomes about strategy and the less about just best player available, the more interesting it becomes.

As it stands, we're still debating division breakdowns. So, probably best to name your team as you wish.

The names of the divisions could be to honour past hockey media like before:

Western Canada named Jim Robson Division
Central Canada named Bob Cole Division
American Atlantic named Don Cherry Division
American West named Foster Hewitt Division

Is the re-alignment kosher?

Now we just need to name the conferences (no #1 and #2 conference this time).

How about famous referees?

I'd like to honour retired linesman Ray Scapinello :handclap: not many in his class. One everyone liked. Over 30 years of great service.

And there are the more infamous of today, like Kerry Fraser and Don Koharski, though retired HHOFer Andy Van Hellemond ref'd 19 Stanley Cup finals.

What do you think?

By far the worst thing to ever happen in the history of the universe.

Really, is 4 more teams that bad? There's plenty of good players out there.

No there is not. When players like Eric Staal, Dion Phaneuf and Owen Nolan are getting drafted that is bad. Why was LapierreSports, MXD, vancityluongo and Pwnasaurus let in when 24 teams is plenty? Looks like someones going to have to draft Shea Weber now to go along with Phaneuf. :help:
