If he isn't signed then just go Ibushi vs. Omega in the finals or Ibushi vs. Naito.

WK12

Omega/Naito
Ibushi/Okada
Tanahashi/??? (initially I was thinking someone like Goto, although with the American expansion it feels like a spot for Cody too...I would have had Shibata in here if his career didn't end though)

Ishii was another name I had in there, too. It's pretty much between Ishii, Goto, Cody imo for the Tanahashi match. I think Naito is in the title match as the challenger and hopefully Omega is taking the belt before the end of the year.

Okada's last title match for the year is probably vs Cody, G1 is rest of the summer and then things kind of going into a holding pattern with everyone getting a breather in World Tag League in November.

I'll go Naito beating Kenny in the G1 Final, but obviously who knows with Kenny's contract.

Edit: Last year Okada had two singles matches after G1, and 1 was non title.

I think Meltzer did say the hope was to do Omega/Okada III before the end of the year so I'm holding out hope for that.

Cody Rhodes is now Ring of Honor champion. Didn't see the show with the insanity of the Flyers, but sounds like it was a good match, and now we'll get champion vs. champion in Long Beach. Kazarian and Hangman Page had a strap match that was completely insane where the strap was covered in thumbtacks and Kazarian's back was all cut up. Sounds like they went full-ECW.

I just got back from ROH's tv tapings. Even after last night's PPV they still manage to put together some great matches! Even though clocking at nearly five hours long I never felt bored at all. The only complaint I have is pretty much having to wait another six months or so before ROH swings by this area again. :)

Okada vs. Omega on the final night would lead me to believe that Omega goes to the final with a draw.

I like the idea of the match being a 30min draw, but Omega is covering Okada. But last year they did it with Tanahashi drawing with Okada, and I don't know if they'd want to repeat that again this year.

That, or Omega just squeaks out a pin in the final 30 seconds with the OWA and then wins the finals again and finally takes the title off Okada at WK.

I hope he signs with NJPW -- I want him to hold that belt.

Maybe you get a win by count out. I don't think you get a real finish.

Hype as **** \o/

This guy is legit awesome, been a star around Europe for years working mostly in Germany for WXW (he's full time with them). Seen him many times when I've been gone over there for shows, and at PROGRESS too. Hopefully he gets to be a regular for PWG down the line. Really great to see him get an invite.

And double hype because Travis Banks is also invited \o/. He's been a main stay of the UK promotions too, being a Kiwi and all. He won the PROGRESS Super Strong Style tournament this year, which was awesome.

The two other names announced are Flamita and Keith Lee.

I remember trying to hype Banks a bit to you when he first went over from NZ, great to hear how well he's going :yo:

Yeah, he's done really well since arriving. It's always great when guys from overseas make it big here, it means you'll send more of them^^.
