Yeah, I'll never understand the Fowler hype. Remember when they were hyping Keegan Bradley as one of the next big things after the 2011 PGA? I mean, Rickie's game is miles better than Keegan's in every aspect but he's still prone to big numbers and struggles to put together a solid 72 holes. I think he'll eventually snag a major just by virtue of being able to put himself in the mix more often than not, but it will be one that somebody else loses instead of him winning it, IMO.

He's very underwhelming. He should be better than he is. All the stats in the different categories add up and people get excited, and then at the end of the year he either won once or didn't win. What would be the perception around him if he didn't wear orange and a flat brim? He's not actually any better than Pat Reed from a statistical standpoint when discussing career wins, but Pat doesn't dress "cool" and vacation with Spieth and Thomas.

Just my opinion, MFW likes him, some others are big fans. I think he should be better than he is, but 8 years in, he's not really shown it.

Okay, so lets prognosticate on Tiger's potential 2018 schedule, boys and girls.

Farmers @ Torrey Pines
Genesis @ Riviera
Honda @ PGA National
WGC Mexico (he'll have gotten himself into it)
Arnold Palmer Invi @ Bay Hill
Dell WGC @ Austin CC

I think he'll want to have himself firing on all cylinders heading into Augusta.

Masters @ Augusta National

Wells Fargo @ Quail Hollow
The PLAYERS @ TPC Sawgrass
Memorial @ Muirfield

US Open @ Shinnecock

The (sponsorless) National @ Wherever

The Open @ Carnoustie

WGT Bridgestone @ Firestone

PGA Championship @ Bellerive

He'll make the playoffs. Skip Ridgewood, play TPC Boston. Skip Aronimink, play East Lake.

Ryder Cup in France.

So 18 events. He misses the cut offs for the WGC events I could see Houston and the Deere being added.

This seems reasonable, but I think he plays the entire playoffs.

And I'd like to take some of those events off their schedules that they shouldn't play.

If that nameless event is not at Congressional, its probably a waste of time. Tiger should not play that, but gotta because of the sponsors thing. I don't like where API is situated in the schedule either and recently a lot of players have begun skipping it.

Jordan should skip the Players, misses the cut there like every year, but he won't. If they weren't moving Byron Nelson to a course he has membership on, he should skip that as well. His best result in that tournament came at age 16, I think he feels obligated to play that event, even though he never plays that course well. They are moving next year to Trinity Forest, so he can keep that.

PGA is coming back to Aronimink this year huh? If Tiger plays, I might have to go, or go regardless

I didn't realize how clutch Spieth's putt on the 18th yesterday was.

It made him the highest earner in the OWGR this year. He won it by .31 of a point over DJ, Thomas was exactly four points behind in third, Rahm way behind in fourth, Fowler fifth.

This makes no sense. JT should have crushed it.

OWGR system is a mess. I vote we let Nosferatu redesign it.
