Not being familiar with the licensing technicalities, what does this mean to other sellers of replica jerseys such as icejerseys, sportsk, etc.?

Guessing they will switch over to Fanatics once existing stocks run out. Do not think they have any obligation to sell Fanatics replicas; they are re-sellers who purchase from Adidas/Fanatics. But once they run out of old Reebok or Adidas replicas, any of the new replicas will be Fanatics by default.

Does anyone know if Dorholt is still in business? I've seen him mentioned on here relatively recently, but have not heard back from them and their website is gone.

This is my main concern. I don't care about wearing a replica with a fanatics logo on it, just as long as I can still get these sites that will do the customization and fanatics doesn't try to monopolize the entire hockey jersey market and sell jerseys with ******** customization.

There was also this from the article:

"Fanatics officials say they plan to improve the appearance of jerseys. Because the jerseys looked too bulky for fans who didn't wear pads under them, the company has created a stretch fabric that fits better. The jersey is adjusted depending on size and gender. Fanatics will also add sizes -- up to 5XL for men and an extra-small option for women."

Are they serious? So go ahead and order a customized jersey with what you THINK will fit you and then when you find out it doesn't, what do you do?

He did a Parise=>Hall jersey for me in late July. Maybe check his Facebook page? I think I linked my friend to it last week when he asked who did my nameplate conversion.

How did you contact him? His website no longer exists, and his FB page hasnt been updated in over 1.5 years.

I scored a > 10 year old, but "new", KOHO jersey on EBAY for my girlfriend (we both think Reebok jerseys are an abomination against god & humanity) and want to put either Elias or Arnott on it with the 00 SCF and 2NHL patches.

They wore ProPlayer in 99-2000. They switched to Koho for the red jerseys in 2000-01 season until 03-04 season.

I second this question. My email to him went undelivered after a few attempts and the facebook page (not that I have it and will not give in to place an order) is dormant. I guess if Dorholt is finished, what was the other customization place commonly recommended around here?

Good riddance to Dorholt.

EPS is the way to go. Takes a bit to turnaround, but they do excellent work.

Here's a link for a game worn Pro Player Rafalski from 2000: http://www.gamewornauctions.net/pro..._Stanley_Cup_Finals_Rookie_Jersey-247-43.html

I picked up three old Pro Players jerseys over the last couple of years and had Stevens/Brodeur/Arnott done.

Tverdovsky was mostly finished as a player when the Devils got him. He was a serviceable 6/7th D.

After Friesen's 02-03 season, he was pretty much finished as a player too. Had an OK season in 03-04 and then was a cap casualty in 05-06 and basically fell off the face of the Earth.

It was amazing how quickly Tverdovsky dropped off. 53 point season (as a 25 year old) in 2000-01 to not being able to give him away after 2002-03 (off the top of my head, his qualifying offer was something like 3.6 million).

Friesen's main attribute was his speed. Even in 2002-03, I didn't think he had the jets that I remembered during his peak years with the Sharks. If I recall correctly, a groin injury pretty much sapped him of his speed and there were rumblings that he had put on a decent amount of weight after the lockout.

It's funny for me since I hated the Arnott for Langenbrunner+ trade but loved the Sykora for Friesen/Tverdovsky one at the time.

Friesen took a bit of a step back in 03-04, but with the cap crunch in 05-06 coming and Lou having major issues with it and coupled with Friesen's condition and salary made him the easy salary casualty. He bounced around for the next couple of years making pretty much zero impact where he went and was completely finished. That lockout year pretty much killed his career.

Also got this Greene 2010 Retro Night game issued jersey in the other day. Love how these look.

I'm still around. Kinda between locations right now, but I can still do jerseys.

Message me on facebook or my new email [email protected]

I'm finally getting caught up. With all the Hall swaps Ive been doing recently, ive been swamped!

Where are you getting all these awesome game worn jerseys from?

Been into game worns for a few years now and have about 40-45ish gamers. Used to be into replicas and had at one point about 75ish replicas, but sold most of them to pay for my gamers when the floor fell out on the replica market.

I get my gamers from a variety of sources. Usually through Meigray, auctions or other collectors. This one came from another collector (best stuff in my collection comes from other collectors).

Forgot to post these as I got them back from Meigray authentication about a week and a half ago:

1) Brendan Morrison 1998-99 White set 1 game worn photomatched

2) Kevin Dean Utica Devils 1990-92 game worn jersey. Jersey shows evidence of being recycled with 2 previous nameplates on it. Jersey was also worn previous to Dean by Eric Weinrich and Tommy Albelin.

Would anyone know when NHL Shop offers discounts on jerseys for Christmas? I know the deal on the nameplate and numbers being heat pressed. The GF wants to order a jersey and would rather save some $$$ than get a jersey with sewn on name and number. :/ IceJerseys has a 20% off deal today.

honestly between IceJerseys or Coolhockey you could probably get a sewn jersey for about the same as you would be getting a heat pressed one from NHL.com

I'm completely aware of that, trust me. :) Getting the GF to understand that, well. Between IJ and CH is one better than the other? I've ordered from IJ before. Checked CH and they have customized Reebok Premier for $125. IJ is $162.
