My (probably incorrect) theory:

Young folk like the mask, folks old enough to grow up with the simpler masks of 80's and 90's think it's overdone.

I'm young, started following in the 90's and love the mask.

I actually might've thought this to be perfect if it didn't have the lightning and he positioned the red&white ribbon a little higher on both bottom sides.

I like it a lot. B+

The lightning is pretty good. When I see "Ragnarok" in the title somewhere I see viking ships/dragons/battles at sea and storms. Makes sense

Lundqvist has 407 wins. Ties Glenn Hall at ninth for all-time wins.

17 more puts him in sole possession of eighth.

31 more (total) puts him in sole possession of seventh.

Does anyone know of a resource that shows shootout wins for goalies? For some reason, I can't find a good list.

Time to resurrect this thread from the dead.

"In his last 10 appearances, Lundqvist has posted an 8-2-0 record, along with a 2.05 GAA, a .937 SV%, and 1 SO. According to @EliasSports Lundqvist has posted a .937 SV% or better over a span of 10 consecutive team games for the second time since the 2013-14 season."

Also, matches his best 10 game stretch (Win wise) ever (8 wins in 10 games)

Henke has been in God mode all month. Glad to see him confident. I hope Pavs has been working hard with Allaire during this stretch because once the schedule condenses we need him to win 10 or so games the rest of the year.

I`m fine with only a Henrik topic - Pavelec is nowhere close to our old backup goalies.

Pavelec is fine, can't expect to always have a top 10-15 goalie in the league as your backup, which is pretty much what we've had with Talbot and Raanta. Pavelec is a solid backup.

Most experts don`t agree with this though, and some even go so far and include Pavelec in their team evaluation that he might hurt the team chance to win a game.

Those "experts" have never heard of any stats which adjust for shot quality.
