Washington has sent down Steve Eminger, Brian Sutherby and Boyd Gordon to Portland...I am kind of curious if they've given the season up now and want the younge players to develop in Portland instead of helping in Washington.
How about Semin ?

He's still playing.

And speaking of Semin, has anyone else had the opportunity to watch this kid play? I mean his stickhandling is phenomenal! He regularly schools 2-3 players a shift; at 19! I haven't seen moves like his since Jagr in the mid 90s.

Any second opinions or comments would be much appreciated!

Just imagine Semin paired with Ovechkin... which is looking like quite the possibility :)

I know one shift against Edmonton on the weekend he deked Brewer twice and almost scored. I was very impressed. I thought highly of him in his draft year. Drafted him in several keepers. :D

Yes I'm so very proud to see Semin turn into a man(lololololol I couldn't resist!)...But anyways, yeah I really think he'll end up makign it through the season and pla a similar role to what P-M B did for the Wild his first year. PP specialist with limited 5-5 ice time. He's learning the game and you can see it with every shift he's becoming more comfortable.
