It's mid October. The Dome will not be opened, ever. Its sad, it can be really nice out but its the truth.

Does MLB have a DATE cutoff ?
It was open once in the post season I think.

The "rule" is that it needs to be the same way (open or closed) for the entire series.

So it was cool for the WC game since it was only one day, but with rain in the forecast today (no pun) they couldn't guarantee anything before Game 3.

The only playoff game its ever been open for was this years wild card game. It has to do with the temperature, hydraulic driven stuff like the Dome don't operate well when gets too cold out.
