The AHL is looking to expand in the next few weeks from 24 teams to 26 teams to begin play in season 6 (the end of our third year). We are currently approaching the season 5 All-Star Game.
The expansion draft will take place shortly after we hit our trade deadline, about a month from now.
We sim two seasons per year and have one draft during our summer off-season (next draft is Hischier/Patrick draft). During our summer off-season we do a league re-rate using BRHL ratings.
