When do you think they will finalise the teams for next season in ahl and echl ?

With all the relocation, and maybe new franchise, cant wait to see the official divisions of the 2 leagues

nothing has changed for 2017/18....

the transfer of St. John's to Laval;

the transfer of Ottawa's club from Binghamton to Belleville;

and the transfer of Albany to Binghamton....

everything that has been settled has been.... and that includes Vegas, PL, has been discussed ever since The All Star Classic, as to where Vegas will align, it just hasn't been publically confirmed if the Blues reup in Chicago w/ Vegas, or go elsewhere and split that affiliation, whether it's Colorado and San Antonio, as been discussed on the Vegas thread here in forum....

Hutch, if nothing has changed for 17/18 then Albany and St. Johns would still have a team. and Belleville and Laval would not. :)

We are just waiting to see what happens with St. Louis, Vegas, and possibly some other teams (Colorado?)

Can you please explain this since I'm a bit confused?? In the bolded part you say NOTHING has changed for 17-18...
And then go on to list 5 changes of which 3 are 100% happening and 2 are pending?

Despite the franchise moves I pretty much expect the AHL divisions to look exactly as they do now, with the relocated franchises all staying in their current division.

Charlotte is pretty much a lock to move East.

IMO, I also think Cleveland moves east and the two Texas teams head to the Central

Until Colorado moves to Loveland and the Eagles are placed in the Pacific Division giving them 7 teams.

Probably a moot point anyway, as I don't see this happening until next spring/summer.

Pacific already has eight since the Tucson relocation, so why would that division change, the whole point was realigning Texas and San Antonio, so that doesn't necessarily mean a Colorado team affiliate goes to the Pacific, whether it's Fort Collins or the Eagles, they could just as easily block that the way the KC Mavericks did despite aligning w/ the Blues in the E.
