Advanced stats providers

Watching the chi stl game on cbc and they mentioned that both teams get advanced stats from the same provider. Just wondering if anyone knows who that is. I am looking for a career change and want to include my hockey passion with my math skills. Any help would be appreciated.

I didn't hear that bit, and I'm not sure who both teams use but there are several companies that do advanced stats. Some basically lease data/software to teams, some work on contract and others work exclusively with a team.

http://powerscouthockey.com/ is one company I know of, but I'm not sure exactly what they do and it appears that their site isn't meant to drive customer traffic.
