I guess we could just walk from the Flamingo to NYNY and pub crawl it, popping into every Casino for a drink on the way. Might have to start the trek at 9am:laugh:

I know this is redneck as hell, but when my ex-gf and I went to Vegas and had to walk somewhere, we would sometimes go into a casino, sit down at the first machine we saw, get the waitress’ attention to bring us a complementary drink, and walk through the casino in the direction we were headed while drinking our drink.

I'd like to pick up a VGK t-shirt before we go to the game on Friday, what are the shirt prices like at the team store at the arena? If they gouge, might just pick one up here before flying in on Wednesday.

$35 is a common t-shirt price at the armory.

Any recommendations for a good sports bar to watch Wednesdays away game? Gonna be in town and would like to watch in a nice bar with local fans.

If you have transportation, head over to City National Arena in Summerlin. It's the Knights practice rink which has a restaurant inside. It's called Mackenzie River Pizza & is the hot spot to watch all away games. There will be approx 250 loud Knights fans.

It's a hike from the strip, & probably a $50 roundtrip Lyft or Uber, so you may want to consider closer options if that doesn't fit your budget. If you do go, get there at least an hour before game time or you won't have a seat.

This sounds awesome but I think its gonna be just a bit too far. But thank you for the excellent recommendation.

Team is having watch party at Toshiba Plaza for Wednesday game

This may be more suitable from where I'll be. Thank you!

Absolutely. The Park is always a cool spot to be. Accessibility for tourists is much easier & you'll have a great time. Enjoy!

Wolf Creek is fun.

Yeah, it's my bucket list course in the Vegas area.

Debating a rental from turo.com or an actual rental company.

I'm going to have to uber or cab from the hotel to pick up the car though since I only need it for the trip to the golf course. No need to pay for more than 24 hours on a rental.

If you're still looking for playing partners when the time comes, shoot me a PM. It's my birthday weekend, so I might be out of town, but I'm also very spontaneous. I may go on a trip to visit a buddy in Vancouver before then & wind up being in town on 8/21 instead.

If it works out, I can drive us up to Mesquite. No need for an uber/car rental.

Bump for a great guy + a great fan.

I’ve had to drive in (from Wyoming, via Mesquite) a bunch of times, and the last time I drove with a buddy who is a serious golfer. He was racing about the courses in Mesquite for hours!

Heck of a first year congrats, happy to see this thread and learn a lot, I'm coming down this July 5th weekend for a bachelor party. Thanks for all the free info in this thread.

Random question best means of getting from the airport to the excalibur hotel, uber the best bet or is there some free shuttles or such?

There's probably a shuttle, but Uber or Lyft will most likely be quicker.
