Very nice find. Goes to some lengths with considerably more inf about Bashin Bill & the events surrounding his disappearance, what was going on at the time, the strange theories (fled to the Soviet Union?!!!). Some rare still shots of Barilko. Tragically gone far too early but not forgotten.

Never heard the Barilko theories as being anything to do with the Soviet Union or anything resembling Amelia Earhardt-esque theories to be honest. Just thought he died in a plane crash and it took them a while for his body to be recovered.
