Analysis:

Both rotations are pretty solid. QCRB has the better ace righty, Royals have the better ace lefty, but both are close. The 3/4s are both comparable. I like that there's basic parody here.

In the infield, I was impressed by both but Vizquel is questionable as a starter in this format, especially at third. QCRB does make up that gap in the outfield. Edmonds/McCovey will play up because QCRB only has two lefties period and one is in the rotation. QCRB is a damn matchup nightmare though.

As always, open to arguments.

His ace is his advantage. Otherwise I would take my 2-3-4 over his 2-3-4, though his are nothing to sneeze at.

I have the better team speed as guys like A-Rod and Dawson even provide some, on top of the clear speedsters (Raines, Alomar, Smith). Infield defence will be a factor because of this, I'm not sure Quad City has the speed to beat out double plays by Smith-Alomar. Connie Mack will not hesitate to pinch hit for Smith in key situations, moving A-Rod to SS and Dandridge at 3B.

From 3-7 in maybe batting order I have more power, especially the middle of the order who possibly combined for over 1,800 HRs (Gibson estimate of ~600).

All in all I feel my team has enough advantages to win the series. I wish Quad City luck. Good squad!
