Win the next game and we get points back
The Metro is stacked at the WC line.
16-6-5 probably get's us in....not sure we have the schedule and pretty sure we don't have the horses to do it.
Based on where everyone is projecting, I would sure as hell hope 96 points gets us in. Even Philly in solid shape needs to play at a 103 point pace for the rest of the year to hit 96 points. You're projecting one of us, Columbus, or the Islanders to play at over a 110 point pace the rest of the way if you think it takes 96. The Devils just need to maintain their current pace to hit 96 points. However, they're playing at a 63 point pace over their last 17 games.
7 point 5 game set, -5 on the pace.
Well it is an improvement of a sort.
Really shows what the start of this section of games was so poisonous. -2 going in and even with +1 in the last 2 we are -3 so far.
According to sportclubstats, 93 points now gives us a 95% chance, 91 gives us a 75% chance, and even 89 gives us a 1-in-3 chance.
This team is definitely capable of finishing 13-9-4 for 91 points. The question is, will they?
hcanes return a ploffs?
That's a kind way of putting it. Cleveland Browns /Detroit Lions is another...
No... No... h#@@ No. They won't do that.
That much is obvious
Question is can we get 3 points in 5 games? Find out later tonight!
SPOILER ALERT : Nope
We need another W Sunday (night?)
We pull points back in if we win
Fun fact: 96 points wouldn’t have actually gotten us into the playoffs this yeah. We would’ve needed at least a point (possibly 2) from the two “bonus games” (81 and 82)
We were more then 10 shy then so nothing matters. but we got 2 on the last game so..
This thread is like the where will the Canes finish thread, except you can see the slow realization over the course of the season that it's going off the rails.
