QUOTES TO NOTE:

It’s the way they play, 1-3-1, it’s not pretty to look at. We experienced it last year.
But they got the win. It is a team where you have to be really smart with the puck.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Obviously we wanted to come in here and get a win against a team that has been struggling, on a back-to-back.
It’s frustrating not to be able to do that. We just kind of got ourselves in a hole and weren’t able to dig ourselves out.
- Marc Staal

I think it had more to do with execution than confidence.
We gave up an early goal in the first, we gave up an early goal in the third.
- Alain Vigneault

Ah, my yearly "back in NY from college" game. Maybe they won't play like **** this year.
Good luck. I'm going to the Leafs game on the 23rd for my yearly back in NY for the holidays game. Last year we were embarrassed by the Wild so I feel your pain.

A Rangers morning skate with Dunkin` Donuts and a friday evening meal which is pizza from Peppes Pizza, life is good! :)

We need to win this game - that will be a great before the weekend.

I don't think we're going to see him for another couple of games. I don't recall seeing where he's been cleared for contact.

That’s the problem with concussions. Such a grey area and they need to take the right steps. Hopefully he is back by next week.

Have a good time for sure, I cross fingers for that win! Hopefully the AV tweak is working out - you need to try something different after the team struggled for a while now.
Hayes & Grabs had chemistry too last year so I`m positive he can get the line going!

Nash will start scoring again for sure - hopefully he get enough feeds to get back his old confidence in front of the net! Another point AV probably considered is that Miller sometimes struggle defensive in his new center role, and Nash will help that line in D zone while Zucc using his speed in counter attacks or create plays with the puck in O zone.

We probably shouldn't win tonight, so I guess we probably will? That seems to be the way of it these days.

If AV keeps playing Desharnais like Erik Christensen I may start to really lose patience with him. I'd rather have friggin Nieves up there who can at least skate through the neutral zone in less than 10 seconds.

Can we just call up Letteiri and get it over with already?

It's also time to try different D pairings. It was time 2 weeks ago, to be honest.
