That is an odd way of doing things. If Belleville is having injury issues, logically they'd be calling up whoever is available from their ECHL list of players.

Why would they, if the had three players that would otherwise be sitting in Ottawa over the weekend, and in White's case, the more games he plays in the AHL, the better.

No issues with them being sent down. I just hope White and Dido get called up this week, as they both played well.

No it's not. Dido and Burgdoerfer are probably staying down there and White should be playing as much hockey as possible. Why would Belleville call up worse players from ECHL while their own guys are sitting around doing nothing in Ottawa?

....because that's why we have farm teams. It's one thing to give the kids something to do for 1-2 days, but it's not a reliable solution for injuries in Belleville.

Ottawa doesn't have an ECHL team and even if they did they aren't calling up players from that team when they don't have to.
