After avoiding relegation this year, it's time to start looking ahead to next year.
I think the team will be stronger than this year, but so will be the competition, which will make relegation an entirely possible outcome.

It's a little too early to post a likely roster (even though I did take a guess in another thread).
Here I want to post the pool of players I would suspect to be in consideration at each position (the players are listed alphabetically).
The ones I consider locks if available are bolded. The others I guessed in the other thread are in italics.

I was almost tempted to include a couple of 2007 players, but that just does not happen in German hockey, and while I think there are strong players in that age group, they are not that good.

GER fans, your thoughts on Elias? Watched him in couple of games and highlights in DEL and he was pretty good for a young kid in big boys league. Pre-Tournament games were aight for him as well stats-wise but here he seems to struggle, no points despite first line duties and big minutes with quality partners
