Back by popular demand...everybody's favorite roster thread...
The bones of this team will be the 2018 World Junior Gold Medal winners, the Golden '98s. I wanted to add Makar to the mix, but that would be unfair, but damn I'd love to see it. Calgary, TB and St. Louis are the early playoff exits...We shall see how the 2022-'23 NHL season plays out. I didn't think TB would make a 3rd. SCF, surely they won't make a 4th. Foote is RFA, but I'll include him anyway as I think he'll be extended long before the season concludes in April '23. Chychrun wasn't on the 2018 team, but he should have been. I wanted to include C. Bedard, but Hockey Canada in its conservative tradition will opt for the NHL rookie over a 17 year old undrafted player. Tune in to find out.
