It can be ugly against the big teams
Fortunately Texier is here to show some flashes

Our depth is very limited , and especially we struggle a lot to score goals
That will be even more difficult without Da Costa, Bellemare and Roussel

Thought they were a bit unlucky against Slovakia and deserved to win today. Any thoughts on why Bault is dressing over Guebey?

Just because he has proven he can handle the international level in the OQT
Guebey has not such experience (yet) with France

And although Guebey was not a liability on friendly games, he hasn't make a big impression either

It's not a choice you can be mad about honestly

Curious to see if France has fully regain his energy to push hard against Germany tonight

Bordeaux, Fra
France lost to Germany 2-3
the lack of energy in the 3rd period cost us the 3rd goal
we were close to tie it up in the last minutes
but considering we played with our backup and 24h of recovery less, it's a good result

Texier is playing better and better
He had a goal and a great game

Really? For Italy sure but you beat the kazakhs. That might be enough to stay.
Well it's just a rule of thumb that you want a head-to-head advantage in those kinds of cases. Relegation loss would still send France to 8th.

I expect France-Italy to be a low scoring affair. Texier has been so far the leading force of France, veteran forward Fleury is still looking for his first point of the tournament. There's some secondary scoring available by Bertrand, Bozon, Chakiachvili and Auvitu.

France should win this game but they are not as big favorites as they are made to be. Italy hasn't been as bad in this tournament as they've been before.
