Switzerland will need to win this one to avoid the relegation round. Unfortunatley they are laking a gamebraker à la Hischier, Malgin, Fiala this year, so its going to be tough if the Belarussians(?) will play all out defence...

Switzerland is still the better team here. Id say something like 4-1 Switzerland.

Unfortunate for Belarus to be playing this game on the second half of a back-to-back.

I think the Swiss manage to edge them out in a close one.

Switzerland should win this one easily. Agreed with the posted above, 5-2. Guys to keep an eye on- Kurashev (potential 1st/2nd round pick this year, im a big fan) Eggenberger (same as Kurashev)
Nico Gross is also looking pretty good keep an eye out for him

Wouldn't be shocked if Belarus managed to win this one. Or at the very least, keep the score within a goal or two. They have a solid team.

The Swiss have higher top end talent, albeit no gamebreakers. I'll say they win by 4 or 5 goals.

4-2 SUI

I could see this being a snooze fest though. Lack of high end talent in this game.

Forgot about 2019 eligible Nussbaumer for Switzerland. He’s very good.
I don’t know too much about Belarus. There’s some guys I like but I’d rather someone who knows more about them can tell you, I really don’t know much about them

The Swiss team is a little weaker this year than normal, and the Belarus team is better than the one who got fairly easily relegated 2 years ago. This will be closer than most people think IMO. I'll go 3-2 for the Swiss in OT.

With the Czechs winning yesterday the loser of this would probably have to beat Russia to give them a chance at avoiding the relegation round. In other words the loser of this almost certainly finishes 5th in the pool

Hasn't Gross been underwhelming?
He was underwhelming at the beginning of this season with Oshawa returning from mono. But like most first year euro import dmen it takes a bit to get used to the NA style. He's been much better lately

Sharangovich, is a solid KHL player, played in the World Championship for Belarus last year. Defenceman Yeryomenko is almost a PPG defenceman in the WHL. Almost the same pace a Jake Bean on the same team. Both guys undrafted, but could very well get picked as overagers next time aorund. Shusko is almost a PPG forward in the OHL. 4th rounder from the Flyers this past draft

Eggenberger has looked solid, same with Nussbaumer. Nussbaumer is so good at controlling the puck. Kurashev invisible so far although he won a face off which led to a fluky goal
