Poltoranin seems to falling off now. Almost a minute behind 2nd place non-Russian athlete, and just over a minute ahead of Harvey at the last checkpoint. This may be his time to strike with a little over 10k to go.

8kms to go and the 1 minute gap between 2nd and 3rd, as well as the 1 minute gap between 3rd and 4th seems to be holding strong. The only interesting race left may be for Gold and Silver.

Maybe Bolshunov went out hard on this leg to push Niskanen knowing he's got the sprint finish.
