I'm not saying there's going to be a missing seat in the Garden in June. I'm just saying that I'm making sure I have an extra $130 in my bank account.
That contract blows my mind......
I simply cannot wrap my head around a guy who has played a couple of dozen NFL games hearing those words.
"Jimmy -- we're offering you $137,500,000. How does that sound to you?"
Couple dozen? I think it's about 5 or 6 games.
Not certain how it's structured but it appears that $74M of it is guaranteed. That's almost $15M per year guaranteed!!!!!!Niner fans laughed at me about the SB and Brady now I can laugh at how their team has grossly overpaid a QB and it will come back to haunt them.
I don't know what I was thinking.6 with Pat's 6 with SF.
Hes making 27.5m from 12 games sample size, not even 1 season.

7 games as a starter. 7!

It's the Patriot effect. Flynn and Schaub also got rich for having What? 1 good game against New England? Jimmy has 7 good games for any other team he doesnt sniff that amount of money
This keeps getting better and better. Apparently, it's not even the typical back-loaded fictional deal you would expect.
Courtesy of Schefter:
When 49ers' QB Jimmy Garoppolo's 5-year deal gets finalized shortly, it will include the largest three-year cash total for a new contract in NFL history, just shy of $90 million, per source.
Flynn got paid for his game against the Lions. 480 yards and 6 TD's
Just curious, besides the blatant illegal contact on the last play, and a few holdings (which get let go on every single play in every single game anyway), what did he and his crew do that was so egregious? The replay of the catch was done by NY, and the replay of Ertz's TD was the correct call.Did Gene Steratore get his own float at the parade?
I'm still pissed, and won't get over it until next February.
Between the 3 touchdowns that shouldn't have counted (illegal formation, bobbled out of bounds, and Jesse James rule), the clearing out of Hogan, and the Eagles' massive holding all night long, he gave them breaks. The only blatantly missed one on the other side I can remember was the 2 point conversion play where our DB (was it Rowe on that one?) got contact way before the ball.Just curious, besides the blatant illegal contact on the last play, and a few holdings (which get let go on every single play in every single game anyway), what did he and his crew do that was so egregious? The Jesse James rule was not applicable on that play. He had turned into a runner. But as I said a million times Sunday and Monday, it wasn't the refs' fault we lost, our defense never should've let it get to a position where a blown call or three could make the difference. But ass bad as we played on defense, if even one of those TDs is overturned, different ballgame.
