At this point we need to go at least 11-6 to have a shot, so not looking good.

3/4 of the upcoming games are against teams that have basically gave up on this season (NYR, BUF, OTT), we better get points out of every one of those games if we still want a chance of making the playoffs.

There's literally no point in changing coaches with less than 20 games left. It may as well wait until the offseason if that's what the team does.

Heading into tomorrow's game we are 4 points out of WC2 (Kings). The Kings have 4 more ROW though, so we need to gain 5 points on them as things stand

It would be simple if it's just the Kings. Blues and Aves are also ahead.

Win the next 3 (which is very much doable).... If we did so, we should be back in it. If we go 1-2 or 0-3 its all done and were f***ed until next season with no draft picks either. Fail.

I have a hard time thinking we are making up 6 points on the Ducks with the same amount of games played.

I think they are the best of the California teams so it might be best to just have them get hot and finish 2nd hopefully taking points from the other two since it was unlikely we were ever finishing ahead of them anyways.

Yup. At least we're cheering for some capable teams. Nashville, Washington, St. Louis and Columbus.

Haynes goes over our schedule and the central WC teams and says we have a better shot of beating out a central team rather than a pacific team. Also just noticed that Bishop got injured for Dallas on Monday and didn't play Tuesday and won't play against the Ducks tomorrow.

I don't think they make, and really doubt they finish ahead of the Sharks, so if we can't pass them then we likely aren't passing the Sharks as well.

I think the Kings and Sharks are the two teams we need to focus on passing.
