Will try to watch Regina vs Hamilton for sure. Would ve been nice to get a look from Alexandre Alain, he had tremendous playoff

The tournament starts tonight. It will be @ 10PM ET on Sportsnet and TVA Sports 2.

The tournament opens up with Cale Fleury vs. Will Bitten.

Quite the dramatic end to the first game of the tournament. Regina scores the game winning goal with about 33 seconds left in the game. No points for either Bitten or Fleury. But Fleury did have a hand in the game winning goal, even if he wasn't rewarded with a point:

Saw a bit of the game and really liked what I saw from Fleury. Physical, good instincts offensive, some nice jump cut moves to create offensively. I think he needs to get some more power in his first few skating strides but at this point he looks like a legit NHL prospect.

I think if he plays like this the rest of this tournament, I can see Habs sign him to an ELC as soon as it's all done. Another of his qualities is he closes the angles and forces the opponent to move to the outside and then he closes him off. He's got a good frame and can also lay a solid hit.
