Here is the ISS top 31 for October for the 2018 Draft. Isles to be quite active with two 1st round picks (possibly more if Tavares is traded) and two 2nd round picks in a deep draft. Some of these guys may fall to the top of round 2, where the Isles may wind up.

Me really really likey this draft. Lots of good talent.

Top 15-20 is really good.

They have Merkley ranked really low. My gut tells me he may end up top 10-15 in the draft.

My brother who goes to Michigan already loves Quinn Hughes. Says he skates like Leddy. Although no one skates like Leddy.

That's a bold claim about his skating.

Upside is clearly there, but what if he's Aaron Ness? Was nicely surprised to see A.Ness is on Washington's blue line btw.

Maybe we can maneuver to get Dahlin, Svechnikov and Tkachuk and start the NEXT rebuild . . . of course if our organizational development remains the same we might as well trade the picks for Reinhart, Nino and Strome . . .

With 2 1sts, it's a good time to restock the system with at least 1 premium defenseman prospect. I've been saying that for a couple of years now so we'll obviously select forwards yet once again.

I'm definitely intrigued by Hughes though (as long as he's not Aaron Ness 2.0) since we'll likely have a decent chance at his younger brother in the 2019 Draft if the nuclear option happens where JT is gone and we're a lottery team again.

It's early yet, but I've seen some clips of Jacob Oloffsson, and me likey. Definitely going to keep on eye on this kid if he plays in any tourneys.
